The day to day: 

As a cruicial member of the Product team, the Product Owner's day-to-day responsibilities will revolve around fostering collaboration with the UK-based project team and stakeholders to define and manage products effectively. 

You'll oversee product delivery, ensuring teams are well-resourced and equipped with the necessary skills, processes, and tools to meet the success criteria and timelines. Gathering requirements from the business, you'll identify future epics and user stories, working closely with business analysts to define them and establish acceptance criteria.

Collaborating with the design team to create prototypes and active participation in review and planning meetings with development and QA teams will be essential.

You'll develop a strong partnership with the Solutions Architect to deliver high-quality products, features, enhancements, and fixes promptly, striking the right balance between innovation, technical debt resolution, and defect fixing.

Additionally, you'll provide support and training to operations for new functions, engage stakeholders, and ensure effective project reporting to manage expectations and risks.

The ideal Product Owner has:

• Experience with trading software and capital markets
• Experience leading Product teams in a fast-paced financial environment
• Strong commercial awareness
• Experience dealing with stakeholders at a strategic level but not afraid to get hand on when needed.
• Experience and confidence of Agile methodologies, UX, user-based testing, IA, and product management and development principles. 

It would be extra awesome if you had:

• Experience working with Execution Management Systems, Portfolio Management Systems, and Order Management Systems
• Knowledge of blockchain
• Knowledge of crypto and digital assets
• Knowledge of real time systems and market data platforms
