As the Senior Java Developer on this team, you will be given full ownership of new clients from the day they are signed through to delivering on the product.

This is a true engineering role (not just hammering out code) where you will be responsible for defining the roadmap and architecting solutions with event driven technology and microservices in the application layer (the challenge is breaking down the monolith but without having 100's of microservices).

Each project you undertake will present you with true problem-solving activities from architectural to procedural decisions, giving you the potential to grow and work on new challenges regularly. This is a true problem solving role spanning across agile processes, architecture, standards and procedures so if you are looking for a cushy development role without any challenge, do not apply! 

For this Senior Java Developer role, you will need experience in:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience with Core Java and experience using Spring frameworks. 
• Experience using NoSQL technologies, specifically Redis.
• Experience developing REST microservices for Java.
• Ci/Cd pipelines (Gitlab and Jenkins) ·Previous experience using AWS and Terraform.

It would be extra awesome if you have experience in: 

• Trading, betting or any other multi transaction systems/industry exposure
• Exposure to an environment where many transactions are being processed concurrently/daily.
