Background and Day to Day duties:
This is a very hands-on role, initially managing a team of 2 engineers but with a view to grow this team in the near future. You will take control of the whole AWS real estate and keep this in optimal condition, ensuring the smooth running of the banking processes. You will come in at a critical time for the business as they undergo a move for their banking services from on premise to AWS. You will be able to speak directly with key stakeholders and other departments to successfully plan your roadmap, and work schedules and processes. The ideal Senior DevOps Engineer has:
AWS Certifications at specialist and professional level
Proven track record managing and mentoring teams
Experience dealing directly with stakeholders
Experience in Fintech would be ideal, but not essential
