Your responsibility in this role would be to lead the development of the platform's new features, calculations and analytics components. You will be working with the latest market data, working with algorithms and calculators to produce the most up to date prices for a wide range of derivatives as well as maintaining and contributing to their already existing code base. This role requires working a minimum of 3 days a week in the London office.
The ideal Senior Python Developer has:
Experience leading a team of developers with a thorough understanding and experience of both modelling and developing for pricing, valuations, risk and other securities using Python. You will be instrumental in helping this platform grow by contributing to the back-end architecture, as well as maintaining and improving the performance and scalability of the platform.
Thorough understanding of Python is essential for this role, it would be extra awesome if you had experience with:
MySQL
Docker
AWS
Quant financing tools (Ore, FINCAD, Quantlib)
