Data Scientist? Want to work with cutting-edge technology in a dynamic and fast-paced environment?

Great! Then read on and apply below!

In this role, you will be part of an established in-house modelling team, focusing on developing and conducting statistical analyses of predictive models for a sophisticated prediction pipeline. Your day-to-day tasks will involve building and maintaining Bayesian-driven predictive models, applying novel Bayesian modelling techniques, and ensuring the statistical robustness and validity of all models. You'll regularly track and evaluate model performance using validation metrics and communicate the limitations and uncertainties of model outputs to non-technical stakeholders. Additionally, you will investigate the validity of data, understand its limitations, and interpret probabilistic results.

For this Data Scientist role, you will need:

  • Advanced experience with Bayesian statistics and modelling, preferably in sports.
  • PhD or equivalent industry experience in data science, statistics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Bayesian inference techniques (MCMC, Gibbs sampling, variational inference).
  • Experience with Bayesian software (Stan, Turing.jl, PyMC3, JAGS).
  • Strong programming skills in Matlab, Python, and R. Ability to communicate probabilistic results to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in solving complex problems using data.

What's in it for you:

  • Hybrid working model
  • Casual dress
  • Regular social events
  • Flexible schedule
  • Private dental
  • Private medical
  • Company sick pay

If you are a Data Scientist and this sounds interesting, please apply to this ad, and a consultant will be in touch within 24 hours if your CV is relevant!
